In survival, you can play, build, complete jobs, create shops, build towns, and more! Step through the Wild Portal to begin your settlement or join someone else's. Play survival with many added features that add to the experience without becoming intrusive!

In spawn, you can sell and buy goods as well as unlock custom enchants for your weapons and armor. You can also team up with other players to take on the Ender Dragon in a daily event, build elevators, enjoy custom fishing and more!

== Seasons ==
Skyblock seasons typically last for two months, although season length may vary depending on player feedback.

Each season, players can create a new competitive profile to compete with. Work to reach the top of the [[Leaderboard|leaderboards]] and rank first place, earning [[Omnicoin]] to spend at the shops and having your island name visible for all to see. Players can earn prizes at the end of each season for ranking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in various categories. These categories include reputation top, island balance top, and voting top. More information on these categories can be found [[Leaderboard|here]].

At the end of each season, rewards will be given out to players who ranked top in their categories. Players' competitive profiles for that season will turn blue, indicating they are no longer active competitive profiles. These profiles will act indistinguishable from casual profiles from then on. Since these profiles no longer act as a competitive profile, players are then free to create a new competitive profile for the next starting season.

With the release of new seasons come big content drops for players to enjoy! Quests will change, areas will change, content will be added, player suggestions will be implemented, and more!

=== General ===
Build and expand your island to suit your needs. You can progress in quests to earn special rewards and further unlock the world of Skyblock. Explore fishing and mining to unlock special gear and become unstoppable. Use the shops at spawn to purchase spawners and crops to create crop and mob farms to sell your goods. Become rich and powerful and transform your tiny starter island into your very own Skyblock empire.

Many areas such as fishing and mining are blocked off until the necessary quests to unlock them are completed. In addition to unlocking these new areas, completing quests earn players special items such as armor, weapons, tools, and even currency and reputation.

=== Profiles ===
[[Profiles]] are separate save slots that allow players to have multiple independent playthroughs on the server. Each profile has its own island, inventory, progression, permissions, and stats. This means progress made on one profile does '''not''' affect any others.

Players can create multiple profiles and switch between them at any time. This makes it possible to try different strategies, challenge runs, or playstyles without losing progress on an existing profile. You can purchase profile slots in the [[Omnishop|omnicoin shop]] at any time.

When a [[Seasons|season reset]] occurs, any profile that participated in the competitive season is converted into a Casual Profile. This allows players to keep their builds and continue playing in a non-competitive environment. To participate in a new season and compete on leaderboards again, players must create a new Competitive Profile and start from the beginning.

Profiles give players flexibility in how they play, while also supporting both long-term worlds and fresh seasonal competition.

=== Reputation ===
Each island profile will have its own [[reputation]]. Reputation items can be earned from slaying mobs and bosses in the mines, catching or killing fishing bosses in the fishing areas, or from completing quests. Reputation items will expire after a six hours and should be given to Frank before they're gone forever. Be sure to make note of this and trade in your reputation items when you get the chance before it is too late.

=== Configuration ===
Much of the configuration can be found on the island menu. Open the menu by typing <code>/is</code> or <code>/is menu</code>. On the right side of the menu, players can access upgrades, settings, and permissions for their active profile and island.

=== Quests ===
[[Quests]] will act as the guiding path to lead player along their journey. By typing <code>/quest</code> or <code>/quests</code>, players can open the Quest GUI which lists each of their active quests. Finishing quests can earn players rewards such as tools, blocks, and weapons and can help players progress to new areas.

=== Fishing ===
[[Fishing]] allows players to fish up a variety of different [[fish species]] as well as catch and defeat [[Fish Bosses|bosses]]. In addition to fishing, players can interact with the wilderness, finding a variety of different fishing [[Area Mobs|arena mobs]], each region hosting different ecosystems to seek out and explore.

=== Mining ===
[[Mining]] allows players to explore the maze-like caverns of various different mines, with each mine segment sprouting their own biome, unique ecosystem, and custom mobs that inhabit their respective areas. Mine ores, fight mobs and bosses, and find your way through to reach deeper into the mines, unlocking better rewards as you travel further down.

=== Spawn ===
Spawn is the central hub of the server. In order to visit the spawn, you must first complete the [[Quests#Tutorial|Next Steps]] quest. Once unlocked, Spawn becomes a key destination for accessing major features, services, and important systems. [[Forge|The Forge]] supports long-term progression through item upgrading and item restoration. [[Leaderboard|Leaderboards]] highlight top-performing players across various categories, such as reputation, balance and [[voting]]. The [[Shop|Shops]] provide a consistent place to buy and sell useful items and materials, while [[Kits]] offer pre-arranged gear sets to help players prepare for different activities.

Spawn also contains [[Crates]], where players can open rewards using keys earned through gameplay, and [[Parkour]], which offers a skill-based movement challenge as a break from normal grinding.
